LABUE is a SCUBA diving club that has been dedicated to expanding the knowledge and enjoyment of SCUBA diving our communities since 1992. LABUE is a demographically diverse organization of divers and non-divers with membership open to all. We welcome all ages and cultures.
We strives to provide "something for everyone" in the exciting world of SCUBA diving. LABUE has found success by offering a wide variety of opportunities including beach dives, boat dives, tropical dive vacation trips to some of the most popular dive destinations on earth, and a variety of enjoyable social and networking activities.
LABUE has something to satisfy a wide range of SCUBA diving skill levels and dive interests; from technical diving, to underwater photography & videography, spear fishing, UW archeology, and more.
LABUE is an active member of the National Association of Black SCUBA Divers (NABS). We were recognized by NABS twice as the Club of the Year in 1999 and 2011!
Our membership meetings feature interesting and informative programs on dive related topics including dive equipment, dive safety, marine life, travel, and ocean ecology. The meetings provide an opportunity for members, their guests, and the general public to get together to learn, socialize, and experience the underwater world. Visit our Meetup and Facebook sites for a schedule of upcoming LABUE membership meetings and other scheduled events and activities.
